Grow beyond
what hurt you
MY STORY
Most people face one or two life-altering traumas.
I’ve endured an onslaught—my brother’s murder, my sister’s death, my father’s passing, a stroke (TIA), divorce, my child’s assault, and the daily reality of parenting children with complex diagnoses.

On top of that, I’ve been the frontline responder to workplace suicides and violent threats.

Through NLP, mindset shifts, and relentless self-work, I turned pain into purpose—becoming a global mental health project leader, ambassador and speaker.

I’ve learned that trauma doesn’t define you, resilience isn’t a one-time act, and true healing requires connection.
If you’re facing your own battle, my story might just change how you see yours. Read more.

Hi, I'm Amanda!
Life hasn't always been easy. In fact, in addition to the above, a devastating motorbike accident, multiple miscarriages, a child struggling with bullying, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts, and a husband facing an incapacitating mid-life crisis all added to the weight.

Navigating all of that has shown me the true meaning of resilience. It's safe to say, I've been there.

These experiences, as difficult as they were, shaped who I am today. They ignited a fire in me, a deep desire to understand the human experience, especially the complexities of mental health.
For over 17 years, I’ve immersed myself in learning, becoming a Master of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and studying Psychology, Mental Health, the Enneagram, Mindfulness and Growth Mindset strategies. This isn’t just theoretical knowledge; it’s woven into the fabric of my being, informed by lived experience.

This isn't just my story; it’s a testament to the human spirit’s capacity to heal and rise above adversity.

I share not for sympathy, but to connect with you. To let you know that you're not alone. I understand the depths of despair, the feeling of losing control of your narrative. And I also know the power of taking it back!
You too can reclaim your story.

I offer more than just information; I offer transformation.

Amanda has a wealth of knowledge and passion for all things related to mental health.
Her presence on stage when speaking about this topic is captivating; it's clear she is deeply invested in her subject matter, which can only come from personal experience.
She shares her own struggles and how she overcame them using various methods she has learned throughout her life, teaching us these same methods and how to implement them in our daily lives.

It's how we overcome and deal with these things that’s important.
She doesn't shy away from topics often left out; death, depression, or anxiety in the workplace or in personal life.
She is one of the few people (I can count on one hand) who truly sees you.

Her calm nature draws you in, creating an environment of peace that allows you to open up willingly.
I have had the opportunity to hear her speak at conferences regarding mental health and trauma, and I have witnessed people opening up in a public space because they connected with and trusted her.

Amanda's keynotes are a powerful and deeply personal exploration of resilience and the journey from trauma to empowerment.

Amanda doesn't just talk about trauma; she embodies it, having navigated a staggering array of life's most challenging experiences.

But this isn't a story of victimhood.
It's a story of triumph.

Amanda offers a unique blend of vulnerability, expert knowledge (NLP, Enneagram, psychology), and practical strategies, not just to survive trauma, but to thrive.
Amanda begins by connecting with the audience on a deeply human level, acknowledging the shared experience of hardship.
She skilfully weaves her personal narrative, not as a laundry list of traumas, but as a testament to the strength of the human spirit.

Amanda dismantles the hierarchy of suffering and validates the diverse ways trauma manifests, from the physical to the emotional, the obvious to the subtle, creating a sense of understanding and recognition in the audience.

But her keynote isn't just about understanding trauma; it's about overcoming it.

She transitions from shared experience to practical solutions, offering a three-part framework for healing and growth.
